Postdoctoral Fellow in Regenerative and Cancer Biology at Lund Stem Cell Center, Lund University, Sweden
We are seeking a curious and driven candidate with interests in Cancer Biology, Regenerative Biology, Omics Data Analysis, and CRISPR Screens for a postdoctoral position in the Regenerative Immunology Lab at the Lund Stem Cell Center, Lund University, Sweden.
Position Overview
This postdoc position is generously funded by Cancerfonden (the Swedish Cancer Foundation). As a postdoc in the Regenerative Immunology Lab, you will utilize both wet and dry lab approaches to explore the remarkable cancer resistance mechanisms inherent to salamanders. This project involves using CRISPR combined with high-throughput screening to uncover the functional underpinnings of cancer resistance in these unique organisms.
We strongly encourage individuals interested in gaining experience in computational and experimental sciences to apply. We particularly welcome applications from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds.
Lab Environment
The Regenerative Immunology Lab, led by Assistant Professor Nick Leigh, comprises a dynamic team of a postdoc, two PhD students, two MSc students, and a technician.
