Description: We’re seeking a motivated PhD student to lead a 4-year study on engaging agricultural landowners in northern bobwhite management. Based in Athens, GA, you’ll work under the guidance of Dr. Elizabeth F. Pienaar and Dr. James A. Martin, collaborating with state wildlife agencies and NGOs. Professional development opportunities tailored to your career goals will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and surveys with landowners in Georgia and Kansas.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Present findings at workshops and conferences.
- Participate in outreach and other research tasks.
Qualifications:
- MS degree by August 1, 2024, in human dimensions, economics, wildlife management, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork.
- Dedication to open science practices.
