Ph.D. positions available for candidates who have knowledge of “both” discrete element methods (DEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for modeling granular (geo)particles and microgeomechanics.
Candidates with a strong background in experimental modeling of granular particles are also welcome to apply. It is “required” that candidates have familiarity with open-source packages (not commercial software) and C++ programming.
