PhD Positions Available

Are you interested in integrated circuit design for 5G/6G wireless communication, sensing, and quantum systems? Banerjee Lab at the University of Illinois Chicago has multiple openings for PhD students. We are seeking motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic students to pursue fully-funded research in RF, millimeter-wave, and sub-THz integrated circuits and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S./M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Research experience in analog/RF/mmWave IC design
  • Proficiency in Cadence, HFSS, ADS
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tape-out experience
  • Experience in high-frequency lab measurements
  • Strong publication record
