𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: We are seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. candidate to join our team dedicated to advancing research in the field of personalized biomaterials for musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Our laboratory specializes in the development and 3D manufacturing of biomaterials tailored toward biochemically guided bone regeneration/restoration in pathological conditions such as diabetes and hormonal dysregulation. This research will encompass precise biochemical engineering of 3D printed biomaterials and comprehensive preclinical/biological assessment of musculoskeletal (MSK) tissues.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: The ideal candidate will have a background in materials science, biomedical engineering, or chemistry. Experience in biomaterials, particularly with 3D printing and AutoCAD/Solidworks, is preferred. Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques, such as cell culture and RT-PCR, and a passion for experimental work and working with animal models are essential. We are specifically looking for an experimentalist who is enthusiastic about hands-on research.

This position offers a fully funded research assistantship, including a competitive stipend and comprehensive benefits package. Successful candidates will gain invaluable experience in experimental design, laboratory setup, and collaboration on projects within the department and with prestigious partners such as the Mayo Clinic.
